Vetsense Abamec LV Pour-On for Cattle is ideal for the treatment and control of Abamectin sensitive internal and external parasites of dairy and beef cattle. Contains Abamectin (10 g/L), a member of the macrocyclic lactones.

Abamec LV is effective against abamectin sensitive strains of internal and external parasites when applied to the skin along the backline of cattle. Resistance may develop to any chemical.

• For the treatment and control of adult and immature stages of:
• Gastro-Intestinal Roundworms
• Barber's pole worm (Haemonchus placei)
• Small brown stomach worm, including inhibited stages (Ostertagia ostertagi)
• Small intestinal worm (Cooperia punctata)
• Intestinal nematode (Cooperia oncophora)
• Stomach hair worm (Trichostrongylus axei)
• Hookworm (Bunostomum phlebotomum)
• Nodule worm (Oesophagostomum radiatum)
• Whipworm (Trichuris spp.)
• Thin necked intestinal worm (Nematodirus spathiger)
• Intestinal threadworm (Strongyloides papillosus) and Large lungworm (Dictyocaulus viviparus)

Sustained Activity

At the recommended dose rate, Vetsense Abamec LV Pour-On for Cattle effectively controls infection with Ostertagia spp. (Small brown stomach worm) acquired up to 14 days after treatment, with Dictyocaulus viviparus (Lungworm) acquired up to 28 days after treatment.

Contraindications

• This product is contraindicated for use in calves under 16 weeks of age or less than 50 kg body weight.
• This product should not be used in dogs, horses or any other pets.
